Academic Degree:
- The Faculty of Education at Suez Canal University grants a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education after completing four years of study.
Duration of Study:
- The program extends over four years, divided into two phases:
- Phase One: First and Second Year.
- Phase Two: Third and Fourth Year.
- Each academic year is divided into two semesters, with each semester lasting 17 weeks (15 weeks of study and 2 weeks of exams).
Promotion System:
- Students are promoted to the next level only upon successfully passing all courses. Those failing one or two subjects are allowed to take a supplementary exam.
Admission Requirements:
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Fulfillment of the Supreme Council of Universities’ conditions.
- Full-time commitment to studies.
- Passing the aptitude tests, which include:

- Music Aptitude Test

Language of Instruction:
- All subjects are taught in Arabic, except for courses in foreign language specializations.
- Educational courses are taught in Arabic, except for scientific subjects, which are delivered in English.

- Students must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75% in all theoretical and practical courses.
- Written exams last between two to three hours, depending on course content.
- Failing field training results in failing the academic year.
- The final grade is calculated based on the cumulative GPA over the four years of study.
Grading System:
- Excellent: 90% - 100%
- Very Good: 80% - 90%
- Good: 70% - 80%
- Pass: 60% - 70%
- Weak: 40% - 50%
- Very Weak: Below 40%
