Vision
The mental health department at the Faculty of Education - Suez Canal University is a pedagogical department that takes part in preparing and advancing educational cadres for both the Undergraduate and postgraduate stages through presenting scientific knowledge and research in different fields such as mental health and psychological guidance to promote the society along eras’ needs and changes.
Mission
The department participates in educational and professional preparation for cadres by supporting them with methods of knowledge, scientific research, and professional performance and contributes to the community’s development and enhancement and solving psychological problems that face students at both stages undergraduate and postgraduate.
Goals
In order to achieve quality guidelines, the department seeks to:
- Enrich students with needed skills, so as to raise the level of the scientific-educational system.
- Enrich students with scientific learning skills, analysis, and information application and provide psychological services to the students to help them in solving their problems.
- Equip learners with the required skills, as to prepare guiding, treatment, and educational programs, in order to help disabled people.
- Support learners with scientific research skills to prepare for applied research in the field of mental health, psychological guidance, and special education and to enrich the field of scientific research and its applications.
